In Trinity 3.5.11, KInfoCenter modules were merged into KControl. Yet, KInfoCenter has not been purged from the desktop. KInfoCenter still shows up in the System menu (not System Menu). Further, two modules appear in KInfoCenter and do not appear in KControl:

This app still exists. There are a slew of related files installed. KInfoCenter still is available an opens empty because all of the options have been moved to KControl.

There is no T-Menu option for KInfoCenter, but the source tree needs to be purged of all related files:

The docbook items must not be deleted when resolving this bug report. They need to be moved to a respective KControl subdirectory.

Bug report 289:

Somewhere after 3.5.13, the KInfoCenter bin file was replaced with a sym link to KControl.

In 3.5.13, the former KInfoCenter modules were placed in KControl, Peripherals and Internet & Network. In GIT hash a53348cabc6953a5c32cb3bd55a3c7bfd350461d, the Peripherals tree was renamed to Hardware and the former KInfoCenter modules were moved to KControl -> Hardware/Information. Two of the former KInfoCenter modules, Protocols and Samba Status remain available in KControl, Internet & Network.

For now the docbook files are fine as is, but to remove all vestiges of KInfoCenter, they should be moved both in the sources and final install location. Thate will require some work to ensure evreything builds and installs correctly.

Further organize TDE Menu.
