By default, Bugzilla does not search the list of RESOLVED bugs.
You can force it to do so by putting the upper-case word ALL in front of your search query, e.g.: ALL tdelibs
We recommend searching for bugs this way, as you may discover that your bug has already been resolved and fixed in a later release.

Description wofgdkncxojef 2018-05-16 16:00:11 CDT
In kmix, global shortcuts for volume don't work. In practice this also affects hardware volume buttons, since they are assigned as a global shortcut.

(actually, volume up works just one increment up, and that's it)

oups, actually the mute global shortcut works fine.
It's volume up and down that don't.

forget the mute problem.
I wasn't using pulseaudio when i got that.

also, in kdcop void increaseVoume(int deviceidx)
works if i put 0 in the field.

This is happening for some users, but not for others.
Comment 4 pitriss 2018-06-03 07:04:06 CDT
Maybe its not related.. but yeah when I start pc then I need to do

dcop khotkeys khotkeys reread_configuration

to convince volume keys to work

A workaround that works for me: use kmix from the KDE.

Problem has been fixed in recent commits in tdemultimedia and tdeutils. It will go into R14.1.0 release.
