By default, Bugzilla does not search the list of RESOLVED bugs.
You can force it to do so by putting the upper-case word ALL in front of your search query, e.g.: ALL tdelibs
We recommend searching for bugs this way, as you may discover that your bug has already been resolved and fixed in a later release.

Description Kristopher 2018-05-21 09:32:52 CDT
I am running the 14.0.5 preview builds on Devuan Ascii (which corresponds to the Debian Stretch release). I started with a fresh TDE profile, with only ~/.trinity/share/config/kmail* and ~/.trinity/share/{apps,config}/akregator* being copied over from my previous install.

Kmail frequently freezes, and always when doing a mail check. Every time it does, I see entries similar to the folling in ~/.xsession-errors:

X Error: BadAccess (attempt to access private resource denied) 10
  Major opcode: 2
  Minor opcode: 0
  Resource id: 0x2600073
X Error: BadWindow (invalid Window parameter) 3
  Major opcode: 20
  Minor opcode: 0
  Resource id: 0x260007c

Upon restarting KMail, I see entries similar to the following, sometimes more and sometimes less (folder/file names censored for privacy since they contain people's names):

kmail: WARNING: readFolderIds(): Found serial number zero at index 1 in folder /home/<censored>/.trinity/share/apps/kmail/dimap/.167942585.directory/.[Gmail].directory/.Spam.index.ids
kmail: WARNING: readFolderIds(): Found serial number zero at index 3 in folder /home/<censored>/.trinity/share/apps/kmail/dimap/.167942585.directory/.[Gmail].directory/.Spam.index.ids
kmail: WARNING: readFolderIds(): Found serial number zero at index 1 in folder /home/<censored>/.trinity/share/apps/kmail/dimap/.167942585.directory/.<censored>.directory/.<censored>.index.ids

Sometimes KMail will work fine after being restarted. Other times it will freeze every time I restart it unless I do a `rm -rf ~/.trinity/share/apps/kmail/` .

I've had to disable automatic mail check due to this bug, otherwise KMail would be completely unusable to send email because the auto-check would cause it to freeze too frequently.

Kmail freezing

It's not obvious from the screenshot, but KMail is frozen here, with no change to the progress bar or the name of the folder being checked.

What KMail looks like if I switch windows after it freezes

The KNotes thing doesn't actually look like that, I scribbled over it in KolourPaint for privacy. The rest of it is unmodified.
