By default, Bugzilla does not search the list of RESOLVED bugs.
You can force it to do so by putting the upper-case word ALL in front of your search query, e.g.: ALL tdelibs
We recommend searching for bugs this way, as you may discover that your bug has already been resolved and fixed in a later release.

Incorrect colors in TDENetworkManager tray menu

When I highlight a connection in TDENetworkManager tray menu it does not use correct colours: the font colour changes to "Selected text colour" as expected but the background remains unchanged, instead of changing to "Selected text background", resulting in bright text on bright background. Either don't change the font colour or change the background colour as well.

Hi Janek,
that seems quite weird. On my computer it colors ok.
Have you tried with a new account?
What is your style and colors? I may try to reproduce it here perhaps...
But so far I don't see issues. Unless it has something to do with long ESSID names

This was done on a new profile. I'm using a colour scheme that is a minor modification of KDE2 scheme - can you see whether you can reproduce the problem with that scheme?

Hi Janek,
I created a new account, accepted all the default settings, choose "window decoration" as KDE2 (the style is Plastik).
TDENetworkManager seems to display wireless info with the correct colors.
I am using R14.1.0-dev for what is worth.

Ah, indeed, doesn't happen with Plastik. But I'm using "Classic with multiple colours" (not sure if that's exactly what's it called in English).

Hi Janek, this seems a style related issue (bug 3150). It that ok with you to close this one as duplicate and just keep the other one open?
Comment 6 Jan Stolarek 2020-07-29 06:04:06 CDT
If anything I'd close #3150 since it was reported later and has no meaningful discussion. Also, are you certain that both issues have the same underlying cause?

It does not happen with Plastik but it does with KDE2 like also described in bug 3150. It seems quite clear that the problem is not related to TDENetowrkManager, otherwise it would happen regardless of the style.

Either we keep this bug open or we mark it as duplicate of 3150, but not the other way around. I am ok with both.

Michele, I think you should manage the tickets in whatever way is convenient to you as a developer. That being said:

> the problem is not related to TDENetowrkManager

Indeed, but that's how it manifests itself and that's what is supposed to be fixed (whatever the underlying cause is).
