By default, Bugzilla does not search the list of RESOLVED bugs.

Whenever I initially start Kontact and click on the Calendar icon, the calendar opens up to Monday of that week no matter what day of the week it is.  I typically open to a one day view.  I first thought it was a one-off error on my part but it has been consistent behavior this week.

I wonder if that is related to the problem of KOrganizer displaying old appointments on startup however the appointments are from the previous day and not from Monday.  I'll open that as a separate bug.

I cannot reproduce this bug in KOrganizer Version 3.5.9 (enterprise35 0.20100827.1168748). My calendar opens to the current day. I will retry tomorrow. Please tell me which version you are using. (Help => About Kontact => Calendar)

You are using Zimbra, right? (I saw this on another bug report from you).
Maybe this is related to Zimbra. Since I don't have a Zimbra account, I cannot test this configuration. But maybe you can test without Zimbra, and check if the bug persists? Or maybe you can provide me with an Zimbra account. Since I am unfamiliar with Zimbra, this is just a wild guess.

It seems Kontact is working fine and opening the calendar on the right day of the week each day.
Given the long inactivity on this bug and the fact that Kontact seems to be working properly, I am closing the bug.
Feel free to reopen it if the problem still persists.
