By default, Bugzilla does not search the list of RESOLVED bugs.
You can force it to do so by putting the upper-case word ALL in front of your search query, e.g.: ALL tdelibs
We recommend searching for bugs this way, as you may discover that your bug has already been resolved and fixed in a later release.

Description Francois Andriot 2011-06-25 16:15:12 CDT
Hello,
I'm running TDE 3.5.12 compiled on RHEL 6.0 (but it's the same on RHEL 6.1 and Scientific Linux 6.0).
I have seen the others bugs with missing libpython.so but I'm not having this issue.

I cannot use the "Display" section of kcontrol, it crashes with the following message:
kcontrol: symbol lookup error: /usr/lib64/kde3/kcm_randr.so: undefined symbol: _ZN12RandRDisplayC2Ev

Same thing when I run "kcmshell display" from a terminal:
kcmshell: symbol lookup error: /usr/lib64/kde3/kcm_randr.so: undefined symbol: _ZN12RandRDisplayC2Ev

When googling for "_ZN12RandRDisplayC2Ev" I only find this:
http://permalink.gmane.org/gmane.linux.altlinux.sisyphus.incominger/122973

I'm currently having the same result on AMD64 + Nvidia proprietary driver and inside vmware virtual machines, so I guess it's not hardware or driver-related ...

Is this report still valid?
Comment 2 Francois Andriot 2013-05-22 23:52:28 CDT
No, not valid anymore. It works in 3.5.13.x .
