By default, Bugzilla does not search the list of RESOLVED bugs.
You can force it to do so by putting the upper-case word ALL in front of your search query, e.g.: ALL tdelibs
We recommend searching for bugs this way, as you may discover that your bug has already been resolved and fixed in a later release.

Description L0ner 2011-09-17 15:46:50 CDT
aKregator closes if news form RSS feed has jpg/jpeg file in it. It throws this error if it's run from the console: "Wrong JPEG library version: library is 80, caller expects 62" otherwise it simply closes.

Is this bug report still valid? I use Akregator daily in Trinity GIT as my primary desktop. I notice no problems with embedded images in the feeds. I don't check the image file type for each feed, but I presume at least occasionally some of them are jpeg. I'll try to monitor this through the next several days.

Is this problem still valid? I do not see any such error in my xsession-errors log.

Closed as resolved due to lack of responses for confirmation/additional information.
Comment 4 Timothy Pearson 2013-08-15 00:08:05 CDT
I strongly suspect I fixed this when resolving a JPEG rotation problem. I remember something about an internal jpeg library header file being included in TDE that then caused a mismatch with the system jpeg library.
