By default, Bugzilla does not search the list of RESOLVED bugs.
You can force it to do so by putting the upper-case word ALL in front of your search query, e.g.: ALL tdelibs
We recommend searching for bugs this way, as you may discover that your bug has already been resolved and fixed in a later release.

Description jiang 2011-11-08 00:47:30 CST
i installed trinity kde3.5.13 in squeeze by apt, and there's no any other desktop environment. but i run kdelop or kdedesigner, it's crashed by the error:

kdevdesigner: symbol lookup error: /opt/trinity/lib/trinity/libkdevdesignerpart.so: undefined symbol: _ZN16QAssistantClientC1ERK7QStringP7QObjectPKc

This symbol _ZN16QAssistantClientC1ERK7QStringP7QObjectPKc is correct in my old debian lenny /usr/lib/libkdevdesignerpart.so.

how to fix it?

thanks.

Do you have the latest version of Qt installed?
Comment 2 Timothy Pearson 2012-05-14 01:55:22 CDT
The symbol _ZN16QAssistantClientC1ERK7QStringP7QObjectPKc resolves to "QAssistantClient::QAssistantClient(QString const&, QObject*, char const*)".

This sounds like a TDE/Qt library version mismatch on your system. Please ensure that your Qt version is correct.
