By default, Bugzilla does not search the list of RESOLVED bugs.
You can force it to do so by putting the upper-case word ALL in front of your search query, e.g.: ALL tdelibs
We recommend searching for bugs this way, as you may discover that your bug has already been resolved and fixed in a later release.

Description Laurent Dard 2011-11-08 13:51:25 CST
This is a little bug I encountered years ago with KDE3.
I don't know if it's a simple thing to implement or not.
But here is the problem:

I have a lot of software in the multimedia category. I configured the menu
to show names and descriptions. And when I open the main menu (Trinity
Classic), on my 1440x900 screen, and when I click on the multimedia
category, it shows 4 columns but the fourth one is barely visible (the
icon & 2 letters) and it's impossible to fully display it.
I think that when the menu is too big to be shown, we should have a way to
access to the end of it (scroll bar, keyboard arrows, mouse wheel...).

- How to reproduce ?
Well... Install a lot of packages and/or resize your screen to 640x480 and
try to use the menu... ;-)

Are you using packages from a recent GIT? Recent patches to resolve bug report 977 might alleviate this problem.

On the other hand, there should be a method to scroll through a long menu. When I tested the patches for bug report 977 I had an Office menu that was too long for the screen. There was a scroll widget at the bottom of the menu. As you filed this against 3.5.13, I wonder whether that widget was added after 3.5.13.
