By default, Bugzilla does not search the list of RESOLVED bugs.
You can force it to do so by putting the upper-case word ALL in front of your search query, e.g.: ALL tdelibs
We recommend searching for bugs this way, as you may discover that your bug has already been resolved and fixed in a later release.

if using kwin is not disabled in kdmrc, kdm spawns kwin as root. this kwin instance keeps running (using the root account) after login which leads to several issues, e.g. right-click on a titlebar -> configure window behavior doesn't work. as a workaround, i've disabled kwin in the greeter section of the kdmrc but i suggest the kwin-instance running as root to be replaced on login with an instance running under the respective user.

This also causes title bar color (and other kwin-related settings) not to respect user settings. This bug is also present in Slackware.

I cannot replicate these problems in the latest GIT. Can either reporter confirm the problems are resolved in GIT? If only using 3.5.13 then that's okay. :-)

Looks like a duplicate of Bug 824 to me.  twin will normally restart under the new user, but if a non-TDE session is started without the patch in GIT, then twin would stay running as root.
