By default, Bugzilla does not search the list of RESOLVED bugs.
You can force it to do so by putting the upper-case word ALL in front of your search query, e.g.: ALL tdelibs
We recommend searching for bugs this way, as you may discover that your bug has already been resolved and fixed in a later release.

Description Laurent Dard 2011-12-15 04:09:22 CST
Apt-file doesn't work with trinity'repositories because they're missing
Contents files for Debian and Ubuntu distributions.

But when looking for a specific file to install (a missing header at the
moment) it's a precious tool.
  http://www.debian.org/doc/manuals/apt-howto/ch-search.en.html#s-apt-file

It would be good to generate those files.
  (http://wiki.debian.org/HowToSetupADebianRepository#apt-ftparchive)

Example on Ubuntu:
  $ apt-file update
  Ignoring source without Contents File:

We use QuickBuild, a fork of Launchpad, to manage our PPAs. Unfortunately Launchpad does not support the feature in question at this time. A bug report requesting this feature was filed against Launchpad many years ago and is still open.

I do agree that this feature would be useful, but I am not skilled enough in Launchpad development to add it. If it is added to Launchpad in the future I can try to port it to QuickBuild, but until then there is nothing I can do.

The upstream bug report is here:
