By default, Bugzilla does not search the list of RESOLVED bugs.
You can force it to do so by putting the upper-case word ALL in front of your search query, e.g.: ALL tdelibs
We recommend searching for bugs this way, as you may discover that your bug has already been resolved and fixed in a later release.

Description Kris 2012-02-19 12:47:48 CST
In the Kopete configuration, under Appearance -> Chat Window, the Gaim style should be renamed to Pidgin. Since GAIM was officially renamed awhile back, people might get confused on the name.

Based on my Google search for screen shots, the Gaim style should not need any changes other than renaming.

Kris, I'm not a kopete user. I think I know which string to update in the sources, but would you please provide a screen shot just to be sure? Thanks. :)

Kopete doesn't run within R14 since I started installing the nightlies (see bug #1100), so without downgrading to 3.5.x, a screenshot won't be possible until Kopete gets fixed. Since I'm on a flash drive, I'm not going to do a complete downgrade, then a re-upgrade.

Ok. I confirmed the crash in R14. I posted a backtrace in bug report 1100.

I now have a 3.5.13 (not 3.5.13.1) virtual machine. I was able to take a screen short. I'm attaching. Please let me know whether this is the screen you refer.

That is exactly what I am referring to. That style was based on the old GAIM application, but GAIM was renamed to Pidgin due to a legal issue with AOL.

As far as I can tell from a Google images search, the actual style does not need to be changed at all, it simply needs to be renamed from "GAIM" to "Pidgin", perhaps with a note added somewhere in the dialog for those used to the old name.

Okay, thanks for confirming. I'm going to propose a patch that renames all occurrences of gaim to pidgin, including the directory in the sources named Gaim. I've generated the patch but can't test until bug report 1100 is resolved. :)

Patch pushed to GIT in commit 6e76ea67. In tdenetwork all references of gaim are changed to pidgin.

Thank you for helping!
