By default, Bugzilla does not search the list of RESOLVED bugs.
You can force it to do so by putting the upper-case word ALL in front of your search query, e.g.: ALL tdelibs
We recommend searching for bugs this way, as you may discover that your bug has already been resolved and fixed in a later release.

Description Joshua Kugler 2009-05-14 21:07:11 CDT
I have an existing ~/.kde 3.5.10 tree that I moved to ~/.kde3 once I installed Jaunty/KDE3. Everything is working (had to change a couple of config files manually), but one has me stuck.

The std.ics file for KOrganizer is present, and has all my old data, and I can open and view it, but when I try to add a new event (or todo) it tells me "There is no resource available." (popup dialog) I've run strace -eopen on the korganizer binary, and I don't even see what path it's trying to open. I see it open other files (including config files) under ~/.kde3/ but I don't even see an attempt to open std.ics.

Am I missing something here? Is this a true bug? All this worked fine under KDE 3.5.10 in Hardy.

Any other debugging I can do for you?

Changing to a bug report rather than enhancement request.

Note the date of the report. Possibly the problem no longer exists?

Is this report still valid?

I'm not sure as to the validity. I no longer use Trinity. You may close it.

I use KDE 3.5 KOrganizer calendar as my default/main calendar.
I am testing TDE R14 on Debian Wheezy as my possible future main desktop.

I have copied my std.ics to TDE setup and its browse many times. I have tried to create test event today and it works as expected. Even event copy and paste works on TDE and annoying misfeature of KDE 3.5 where paste ends in current date is fixed.

Tested version KOrganizer 3.5.9 (enterprise 35 0.20100827.1168748) Trinity R 14.0.0 DEVELOPMENT. Package Wheezy korganizer-trinity 4:14.0.0-r370 .
