By default, Bugzilla does not search the list of RESOLVED bugs.
You can force it to do so by putting the upper-case word ALL in front of your search query, e.g.: ALL tdelibs
We recommend searching for bugs this way, as you may discover that your bug has already been resolved and fixed in a later release.

Description Slávek Banko 2012-03-26 13:21:28 CDT
The packages kcontrol-trinity is no longer contained logitechmouse.rules (which is probably good), but even so postinst script makes a symlink into udev. Symlink thus refers to a nonexistent file.

Remove 025_logitechmouse.rules if logitechmouse.rules is not installed
Comment 2 Darrell 2012-04-28 14:17:04 CDT
Tim,

This is a Debian specific patch. As you use Debian systems, if the patch looks
sane to you I'll be happy to push to GIT.
Comment 3 Timothy Pearson 2012-04-28 15:22:18 CDT
I am thinking it might be a better idea to restore logitechmouse.rules, as certain functionality (at least the mouse battery indicator) seems to be tied to its presence.

There is a patch here that probably needs to be applied as well:
https://launchpadlibrarian.net/18862591/patch (from https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/kdebase/+bug/288740)

Ok. As this is seems limited to Debian, I'll let the two of you sort this out to satisfaction. :-)

logitechmouse.rules relate to Ubuntu, as well as to Debian. Unfortunately I can not see if udev rules are still needed.
Comment 6 Slávek Banko 2012-06-16 19:59:09 CDT
Given that the patch only responds to the presence / absence of rules, does not prevent the return of the rules in the future, so I pushed it.

Fixed in GIT hash fb5dadf2.
