By default, Bugzilla does not search the list of RESOLVED bugs.
You can force it to do so by putting the upper-case word ALL in front of your search query, e.g.: ALL tdelibs
We recommend searching for bugs this way, as you may discover that your bug has already been resolved and fixed in a later release.

The libkipi libraries provided by Trinity are 0.1.5 and the last Qt3 compatible release is 0.1.6.

And without discussing with the development team??

It may never get fixed perhaps, but it does not mean it should be closed and forgotten.

bug 961 is about kipi-plugins. probably related, but does not seem a duplicate, at least at first sight
